During the Downtown Appleton Farm Market the 484th Army Band of Chicago/Milwaukee will perform a patriotic concert in downtown Appleton’s Houdini Plaza (corner of College Ave. and Appleton St.) at 12:00 noon. Free and open-to-the-public. Bring a lawn chair. Concert is supported by Bazil’s Pub & Provisions. After the concert claim your spot on College Ave. in downtown Appleton for the 72nd Appleton Flag Day Parade. Have lunch at one of the many downtown restaurants, bars and grills. Dine-in or carry-out to your spot on the route.
The parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Oneida St., heads west on Wisconsin Ave., south on State St., east on College Ave. to Drew St. where the parade will disband.
The parade will be live streamed by WFRV Local 5 at www.wearegreenbay.com.
