We are hosting Allied Cycle Works and professional mountain biker/gravel racer Payson McElveen again this year before the Chequamegon 40. Join us September 10th for a social ride & a gathering at the shop afterwards. Payson will share a little bit about his escapades in racing before he takes on this year's Chequamegon 40. Allied will also be bringing some of their bikes to see.
Here's the Schedule:
- 6:15 - 6:30 pm: Come chill before the ride
- 6:30 - 7:30 pm: Social Group Ride with Payson & Allied (ride departs promptly at 6:30 pm)
- 7:45 - 8:30 pm: Q&A w/ Payson and Allied
- 8:30 - 9:00 pm: Social Time and Chat With Allied Cycle Works
There will be some snacks and beverages during the Q&A and social hour.
We're going to go into Fort Snelling which has a mix of pavement and dirt. Think the gravel along the river and Picnic Island. A wider tire is not required, but it will probably be more fun.
