Looking for a new, creative way to feel spiritually connected? On Saturday, August 15, from 10:00–11:30 a.m., you're invited to connect with God through simple artistic creation. Andi Lewis, the Director of Communications at St. Paul's, will lead a free workshop on Praying with Peaceful Patterns at St. Paul’s. Peaceful Patterns, often called doodles or tangles, are detailed black-and-white drawings created by repeating simple patterns. Andi uses this form of art as a meditation practice that helps her feel close to the Creator. In this morning of contemplative creativity, Andi will teach you about Peaceful Patterns, guide you to practice some simple patterns, and encourage you to breathe deeply as you create your own work of art. You will be provided with drawing paper and an artist’s pen. This workshop will help you tap into your creative side, whether or not you consider yourself artistic. No experience or artistic skill is necessary. Please register (https://forms.gle/jqHmTTSVEcFT52yh7) for each person attending so that we can have enough art supplies on hand. Come find beauty in even the most basic of doodles!
