Prayer Walk Around the Cross - Stop Human Trafficking
On this special day, which aligns with the global Blue Heart Campaign, we invite individuals, families, churches, and community members to gather in prayer, reflection, and action. Wear blue to show your support for victims and survivors and to raise awareness of this critical issue.
Throughout the event, participants will journey through five interactive prayer stations surrounding the cross, each focusing on a different aspect of the fight against human trafficking:
Prayer Stations
1. Pray for Our City
Lift up Kokomo and surrounding communities, asking God to raise awareness, strengthen families, and protect the vulnerable.
2. Pray Over Places of Trafficking
Intercede for locations where exploitation occurs, praying for darkness to be exposed, victims to be rescued, and traffickers to be brought to justice.
3. Survivor Testimony
Pause to hear and reflect on a powerful survivor story, remembering the real lives impacted by trafficking and the hope that healing brings.
4. Pray for Survivors
Pray for healing, restoration, freedom, and long-term support for those recovering from exploitation and abuse.
5. Pray for Those Fighting Trafficking
Lift up law enforcement, advocates, social workers, ministries, counselors, healthcare professionals, and volunteers working to prevent trafficking and care for survivors.
