We are holding a prayer vigil for those who are having to sit in solitary confinement day in and day out. We are choosing to hold these vigils on the 23rd of each month because that is the average number of days people have to be confined in isolation. The conditions of isolation for a prolonged period are damaging and considered torture according to the United Nations. We are gathering to pray and stand for better treatment. We hope to see you at noon on this Thursday the 23rd on the Southeast corner of Green Bay Correctional Institution. Bring your signs and your friends!
P.S. Park on Coolidge Street, not in the parking lot next to the prison.
