Dear Chaplains and Students of Prayer and Spiritual Counseling:We invite you to join our Lead Chaplain at Unity of Sedona, Jeff Schlicht RScP, for open discussion and practice of prayer and spiritual counseling.
These virtual get-togethers will be held via Zoom on the fourth Thursday of each month, beginning Thursday, August 27th. The time together will be 9:30am-10:30am Arizona time (which is currently PST).
Because some of you have expressed difficulty in getting prayers from your heart to the spoken word, the focus of these sessions is practice, practice, practice. We will continue in learning the practice of prayer and counseling sessions. Together we will review the elements of the 5 step affirmative prayer and creating a sacred space between you and your clients. The discussion will also include questions and answers to support your continued growth in your personal practice.
These meetings are open to active chaplains at Unity of Sedona and those who have taken Michael Mirdad’s workshops on “The Power of Conscious Prayer” or “Advanced Skills in Spiritual Counseling.”
Participation in these online meetings is on a “Love Offering” basis. Use this link to make your Love Offering to Unity of Sedona. The donations collected will go to future building buildouts and beautification of the new center, Unity of Sedona.
