Breath initiates and reaches into cellular expressions, providing the exchange that allows the body to move profoundly and freely for life. When combined with the resonant healing of the gong, transformation can happen.
I have over 30 years of somatic resonance experience and am a pranayama practitioner and teacher. I further explored synergies between gong bathing and Pranayama, the practice of controlled inhalation and exhalation. The teachings from Muktibodhananda, Swami's (2013) Hatha Yoga Pradipika, followed dream states, which led me to enrol in an online pranayama research training with The Mohans, renowned yoga teachers from South India. The Mohans are wise and beautiful people who greatly enriched my understanding and practice.

Pranayama, the ancient yogic practice of breath control, forms the cornerstone of our sessions. During our gatherings, you'll experience:
-Ujjayi Pranayama: Learn to create the "ocean sound" breath, promoting relaxation and increasing oxygenation
-Nadi Shodhana: Practice alternate nostril breathing to balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain
-Bhramari: Engage in bee breath to calm the nervous system and quiet the mind
Through these practices, you'll discover how Pranayama can:

Gong Bathing
Following our pranayama practice, we are invited to breathe with the gong's rich, resonant tones and frequencies.
Gong bathing offers:
-A symphony of frequencies from Paiste symphonic, planetary gongs, sound creation earth gong, and singing bowls, each tuned to celestial bodies in our solar system.
-Waves of sound that penetrate deep into the body, promoting cellular harmony and release
-An opportunity to enter a meditative state, ideal for processing the day and preparing for restful sleep
