Sunday, July 26, 4:00PM - 6:00PM - Pranayama & Vin-Yin Yoga for Nervous System Regulation - In this two hour workshop you will learn about the autonomic nervous system and different techniques that can be used to target the desired response in order to regulate oneself. Enjoy a slow, mindful Vinyasa practice that emphasizes steady pacing, intentional transitions, and breath awareness to help discharge excess energy and build a sense of connection and autonomy with your body—supporting the nervous system’s capacity to regulate in motion. Then transition into an intentionally sequenced Yin practice, with the support of props and unhurried time, allowing yourself the space your body needs to surrender, the mind to settle into meditation, and the nervous system to downshift into a blissful state of being. Explore how different types of movement, stillness, and pranayama breathwork techniques can affect your internal state—collecting practical knowledge and tools you can carry into your daily life to support yourself in moments of stress, fatigue, or overwhelm. Suitable for all levels of experience. Modifications and options will be offered. 2 CEUs eligible for Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructors.
