Join us and Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency for Praise and Preparedness initiative training! This is a free event!!
The training is on September 16th from 5:30PM to 9:30PM at First Baptist Church of Woodstock (11905 GA-92, Woodstock, GA 30188).
The Praise and Preparedness initiative, developed by GEMA, is a statewide effort that engages faith-based organizations in strengthening emergency preparedness across Georgia. The goal of this initiative is to equip places of worship to be better prepared, more resilient, and ready to serve their communities in times of disaster.
This training will include:
• An overview of the Praise and Preparedness program and how to get involved
• Steps to assess and improve your organization's emergency readiness
• Guidance on developing an emergency operations plan
• Resources available through GEMA and local emergency partners

We believe houses of worship are essential partners in community preparedness.
This event provides an opportunity to learn, plan, and take action, ensuring your congregation and surrounding community are prepared when emergencies arise.
