Prairie Song Folk Club - December 3, 2026
About this Event
Prairie Song Alliance is proud to present the Prairie Song Folk Club, which makes its home at Edmonton's historic Bison Lodge. Here, we celebrate the very best of Alberta's music in a beautiful setting that will capture your heart and give you an unforgettable experience.
In December, PSFC welcomes Scott Cook, one of Canada's most beloved modern troubadours, whose thoughtful songwriting, engaging storytelling, and genuine stage presence have earned him audiences across Canada, the United States, and beyond. A full-time touring artist since 2007, Cook has received multiple Canadian Folk Music Award nominations, charted repeatedly on CKUA, and recently released Tangle of Souls, a companion album and book celebrating life on the road.
Joined by longtime musical partner Pamela Mae on upright bass and harmony vocals, Cook delivers performances that are warm, witty, and deeply human. Together, they create an evening of songs and stories that linger long after the final note.
Warming up the stage for Scott and Pamela will be Susan Isaac.
Susan is a prairie folk singer-songwriter whose powerful vocals, thoughtful storytelling, and beautifully crafted songs explore family, memory, home, and belonging. Drawing comparisons to Joni Mitchell, Nanci Griffith, and Joan Baez, she blends fingerstyle guitar, rich melodies, and lyrical depth into warm, authentic performances that create a lasting connection with audiences.
Come enjoy a wonderful evening of music in the River Valley. We look forward to seeing you there!
