Welcome to the Prairie Grain Development Committee's (PGDC) 2025 Annual Meeting. Gather with us Feb 24 - 27, 2025 in Winnipeg at the Delta Hotel where we will exchange information for the advancement of prairie grains. The meeting will facilitate scientific discussion, research prioritization and the development of improved cultivars.

The Prairie Recommending Committees and Subcommittees for Wheat, Rye and Triticale; Oat and Barley; Pulse and Special Crops; and Oilseeds will be meeting over the course of the four days.

An evening reception, plenary session and scheduled breaks will provide fantastic networking opportunities. Guests are welcome to register for the reception only.

The theme of the 2025 plenary session is "Artificial Intelligence in Plant Breeding." The plenary agenda will be updated here.

Please note that the registration process for the 2025 meeting has changed. Registration will open for members and designated ex-officio on December 9th. A unique code will be sent out to access these tickets. There will not be an early-bird ticket price. All tickets will be priced at $600, which does not include the registration service provider fee ($40.34).

Guests wishing to register must still have their names sent for approval to the Secretary and/or Chair of the Recommending Committee they wish to observe prior to registering. To inquire about obtaining approval, or any other meeting details, please contact Angela Brackenreed at [email protected].

A discounted room rate of $209-239 / night can be booked at the Delta Hotel here until January 15th, 2025.

Registration provides attendees with the program in its entirety, including the reception and plenary, as well as the meals and health breaks as indicated on the agenda. Note that lunch is provided on Wednesday only and the reception includes a casual dinner.
