Practicing Peace Inside and Out: A Course in Nonviolence and Meditation
About this Event
This class offers simple and satisfying pathways to a transformed life:
- The peace and joy of meditation is made quickly accessible through meditations designed to take you with ease to your most powerful heart and mind energies.
- Nonviolent communication techniques can help you bring good will and positive resolutions to challenging situations.
- You can learn how to guide your immune system to its highest functioning and sustainable good health.
- Even the toughest world problems can be viewed through an understanding of nonviolence that can bring the peace and fulfillment of needs we would all like to see.
This course will be taught by Cathy Comstock, an experienced professor on nonviolence, meditation, and their applications to everyday life.
The class will have 30 spots available, which will be open to the general community on a first come, first served basis.
We hope that registrants can commit to attending all four classes. The cost of attendance for the full 4-part course is $40, with scholarships available. No one turned away due to lack of funds. Please contact [email protected] if you would be interested in receiving a scholarship.
