About this Event
You’ve written a terrific manuscript, but can you sell it in a few sentences? At LitArts RI’s Practice Your Pitch, craft a successful book pitch for your query letter with in-person guidance from an industry professional. On Sat, Sept 27 from 1-3:30pm, literary agent Anjali Singh will offer advice on how to navigate the agent process and generate a powerful book pitch. Participants will have an hour to work on shaping their pitch in the LitArts RI Center and a chance to consult with local authors for personalized tips. The event culminates with the opportunity to submit a pitch to our experts, with in-the-moment feedback and time to get your book publishing questions answered!
After the event, Anjali will be joining the monthly B/I/POC Coffee Hour from 4-5pm at the Center for a conversation with writers of color.
