Practice Shoot | Studio Headshots

So, you have some photography knowledge but need some real world practice? We've got you!

Take all the classroom learning and put it into practice in this interactive, fun experience....and, walk away with stunning images for your portfolio while you’re at it!

This experience is primarily time for YOU to practice with real clients in a safe environment with friends where it’s OKAY to make a mistake or ask a question, if you have one.

If you have attended or heard of a “styled shoot” before, this is similar in that you will have an opportunity to shoot and use the photos for your portfolio but different in that you will be shooting REAL people who have signed up and paid to be photographed by students of Lancaster Photography School and are hoping to use your photos for their new profile picture….so there’s some pressure to do your best!

The other difference is that there will be a good amount of support and teaching involved based on the classes provided by Lancaster Photography School.

It is expected that you will have taken and plan to practice the skills learned in at least ONE of the following classes at Lancaster Photography School to join in:

• Natural Light Photography

• Get More from Your Camera

• Composition

• Posing

EVERYONE will be given an opportunity to shoot. We are a friendly, supportive group of people. You will not need to claw your way to the front to get a great shot.

This, my friends, is the icing on the cake. We highly encourage you to regularly attend practice shoots to complete your learning experience!

* Location is completely indoors taking turns using studio lighting and will be held rain or shine. You will be notified of any changes via the email address provided when you purchase your ticket.

* If something comes up and you are not able to attend, tickets for non-members are transferable to another photographer but NOT REFUNDABLE.
