Practice Physical Ability Test (PAT) Sacramento Police Department

The practice Physical Abilities Test (PAT) provides current or prospective Police Recruit applicants with the opportunity to attempt the PAT prior to their official testing date. This practice session is strongly recommended for all prospective applicants, regardless of current fitness level or confidence with the test, as it allows participants to become familiar with the testing environment and expectations.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL TESTING DATE AND YOUR SCORES WILL NOT BE RECORDED

The practice PAT will be conducted at the Sacramento Police Academy located at 2409 Dean St., McClellan Park, CA 95652. Participants will meet at the track. The session will be held rain or shine.

Waivers to participate will be emailed to participants who are prereigstered in advance. All participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 mins. early before their session. We do have limited hard copies of the waivers if you are unable to complete them before the event, but it is highly encouraged you bring them with you completed so we are able to start on time.

Attendees should bring water and wear appropriate physical training attire, including athletic clothing and running shoes suitable for physical activity.

Please do not bring any guests with you to the facility.

Open to current applicants or those interested in applying. Must be 18+ to participate.
