About this Event

Take a rest and give yourself a morning to benefit from connecting with nature. Disconnect from daily life to rest, recover, and contemplate in the trees while you enjoy the benefits of meditation and forest bathing.

You'll enjoy:

  • guided forest bathing walk with nature based activities
  • guided meditation
  • space to share and be inspired within a small group
  • experiencing how connecting with nature benefits your wellbeing

A Morning brief

I will greet you and provide you an introduction to forest bathing before you depart together for a walk. A series of invites will be presented as you are led through the trees to progressively immerse you to nature.

You will stroll among the trees, pause, sit, and breathe. Observing what you hear, see, smell, and feel through your senses. As you gradually tune into your surroundings, you'll start to notice things that you wouldn't ordinarily see while wandering through the woods.

Learning how spending time in nature benefits your mind and body. You will also learn simple techniques that you can keep using in your life to support your wellbeing.

You'll be served a cup of tea and gather with the group to have a circle sharing to be inspired.

What is Forest Bathing?

In forest bathing (shirin-yoku), you mindfully immerse yourself in nature with your senses. Connect yourself with nature. Originating from Japan in the 1980s, scientists and doctors have proved that forest bathing helps boost the immune system, treating insomnia and even countering illness.
