About this Event
Alex Taylor of Dosha Wellness and Sarah Cummins of Waterfall Yoga Therapy team together for this event! We will learn the basics of the ancient wisdom of eastern medicine, Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga. We will discover the way to understanding our own personal rhythms and the rhythms of nature and how the philosophy and practice of yoga allows us to open up the flow of prana, our vital energy. You'll leave knowing a lot more about yourself and how to tap into your own energetic power with practical techniques for healing.

Ayurveda: Understanding Your Unique Nature
- The Dosha System: Ayurveda identifies three mind-body types or doshas: Vata (air and space), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (earth and water). You'll learn how to identify your dominant dosha and its characteristics.
