About this Event
One of the basic premises in the School of Philosophy is that what we are looking for is already within us. What we are seeking may be expressed in many ways, but ultimately the journey is inwards.
In the School we draw heavily of the ancient teachings from the West and from the East, in particular the teaching of Advaita, non-duality or unity.
The aim is always practical, not theoretical or academic. We look at what the wise have said and we see how to make it practical in our lives. We are asked not to accept nor reject what we hear but to put it to the test.
The course is interesting, enlivening, enjoyable and also challenging. Together, in good company, we can discover our true potential.
