This is a four hour instructional course which can be taken by anyone of any skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced shooter, you will walk away from this course feeling you've gained the confidence needed to continue the art of proficient shooting..
To begin the course you will learn the fundamentals of grip, trigger press, sight alignment and the "why" behind each element. Then we will work into understanding your individual limits, the importance of accurate hits to target, and the ability to quickly engage with a target.
Other drills may include:
How to present from the holster
How to perform an emergency reload
Lateral movement
And more.
Each class is unique and dynamic to allow the student to stay engaged while on range, feel accomplished upon completion, and have the desire to return for further education.
More advanced skills may be addressed if the students show the ability to safely proceed.
There will be a $25 range fee to be paid to the range by the student upon arrival.
Items required:
The firearm you wish to use for training in 9mm / 40 S&W / 45 acp
2 magazines with mag pouch or speed Loader for revolvers
300-500 rounds for your firearm you will be shooting
Range bag with gun oil and any tools needed for your personal equipment
Sturdy belt / Eye protection / Ear protection / Hat / Closed toed shoes
Feel free to bring a lunch, snacks, and or drinks to the class
