Artificial intelligence is changing the way businesses operate, but understanding how to use it effectively can be challenging. The Muslim Chamber of Commerce USA invites you to Practical AI for Small Business Growth, a hands-on workshop designed to help business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals understand AI and learn practical ways to incorporate it into their businesses.
This workshop will go beyond simply discussing what AI can do. Our speakers will focus on practical applications, real-world examples, and strategies that you can begin using in your business.
Session 1: AI Foundations
Dr. Nasir Uddin, an USF Assistant Professor in AI and Cloud Technology, will provide an introduction to artificial intelligence and explain how today's most common AI tools work.
Participants will learn what AI is—and what it is not—how to communicate effectively with AI tools through prompting, and how to get more useful and reliable results. The session will also address the limitations and risks associated with AI so that business owners can make informed decisions about when and how to use it.
Session 2: AI Adoption
Brett Witkoski, CFP®, a portfolio manager with 20 years of experience in proprietary algorithm trading and more than $19 million in firm capital, will focus on moving from understanding AI to putting it into practice.
This session will cover how to identify the right AI use cases for your business, select appropriate tools, evaluate costs, develop useful workflows, and introduce AI to your team. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to begin adopting AI in a practical and manageable way.
A Hands-On Learning Experience
This is an interactive workshop, so please bring your laptop. Attendees will have an opportunity to follow along, explore AI tools, and apply what they learn during the event.
No technical background or previous AI experience is required. Whether you are completely new to AI or have already started experimenting with it, this workshop will help you better understand how AI can support your business.
