PRACT Summer 2024 Meeting - Asian Customers Matter More Than You Think

The Pacific Rim Actuaries Club of Toronto will be holding our Summer Meeting on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, at Sky Dragon Chinese Restaurant in Toronto.

Si Xie is a board member and Chair of the International Committee for the SOA and a former member of the PRACT exec committee. In 2017, she joined HSBC and moved from Toronto to Hong Kong. Since then, she has achieved the following:

• Successfully led the business transformation to upgrade HSBC’s wealth management business in mainland China.
• Possesses extensive experience digital, integrated finance, innovation, human-centric design, personal financial planning and business strategy.
• Currently, Si leads the strategy and proposition development for Greater China for HSBC Life.

With her extensive experience in Hong Kong and mainland China, she will share insights on characteristics of Asian customers and why these customers would generate significant upside (and potential downside) for Canadian insurers. You will have an opportunity to ask her questions.
