2026 Family Reunion
Hello, all you great cousins, the Ike Glover family is hosting the reunion this year. We have reserved the Bicentennial Park in Sandy Ciyty at 530 East 8680 South in Sandy. We held our reunion there a number of years ago. It has a nice building to meet in and lots of room for people to play and have fun. The reunion will formally start at 3:00 pm.. You can certainly come earlier and eat if you'd like or do whatever you want with your family. We will provide some ice cream for dessert. Of course, we encourage as many of you to come as possible. For many of us as we all know time is beginning to run out on this little planet. And we want to be able to share time together as much as we can before we all go to meet Grandpa and Grandma Glover.
Please be sure to share this invitation with all of your family members. I know many of the new generation get bored with this kind of event, but I also think it's important for them to hear some of the family history that we all have to share.I remember a reunion that I went to with Grandma, Melissa and Grandpa Parley at Murray Park, and they had all of the older family members there.
And, of course, Melissa's (I think) mother lived with them for a while. Her name was Alice.I would give anything to spend some time with her to find out more from her, since she was probably more in tune with pioneers than she was with rockets and motor cars.That was a missed opportunity for me that I regret even now.
