PPOC Eastern Ontario Branch Equine Photography Meetup

Spend an evening with fellow photographers at Stonecrest Stables for a unique equine photography experience.

This casual PPOC member meetup offers the opportunity to photograph horses in a beautiful rural setting while connecting with photographers from across Eastern Ontario. Whether you're looking to expand your portfolio, practice working with animal subjects, refine your lighting and composition skills, or simply enjoy a creative evening with colleagues, this event is for you.

Participants will have opportunities to create both portrait-style images and natural candid photographs of the horses throughout the property. There will also be plenty of time to network, exchange ideas, and discuss techniques with other members.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome.

• Beautiful rural farm surroundings

• Informal sharing of ideas, techniques, and experiences
• A relaxed and supportive creative environment

• Camera and lenses (telephoto and portrait lenses recommended)
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Comfortable footwear suitable for farm terrain (i.e. no sandals, closed toe)
• Water and any personal items you may need

• Open to current PPOC members
• Attendance is free
• Registration/RSVP is required
• Space is limited
• Please arrive on time so we can begin as a group
• Participants are expected to respect the horses, facility, handlers, and fellow photographers
