This event is geared to bring together women in our community in a positive and empowering atmosphere! The day will start off with a mini-expo featuring women owned businesses, then transition into lunch and our special guest speaker.

This month's speaker will be Dr. Sadie Gray, speaking on the topic of the O.U.T.S.M.A.R.T. Method for Goal Setting. In the wake of the "quiet quitting" debate, we are noticing lowered employee engagement across multiple industries.
Even if you and your team are familiar with SMART goals (no worries if not, we got you) sometimes employees still fall far short of the mark. While SMART goals are industry standard, employees won’t complete tasks if they don’t feel heard and valued in the process of setting goals.
This presentation discusses the OUTSMART method that leadership can utilize to empower employees to become more engaged with carrying out large goals.

Dr. Sadie Gray's research and leadership experience in the nonprofit and educational sectors showcase an expert understanding of how systems and procedures are often to blame for project failures–not always employees. Dr. Gray has a Doctoral degree in Learning and Organizational Change, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and nearly a decade of experience gathering data from the front lines of failed organizational work cultures. Dr. Gray believes the best way for management to discover the science of adult motivation– is to first identify what it is not.
