Techno Dadaist and creator of Moma.PS5, HE VALENCIA (Aloiso Wilmoth) is an Indiana based artist and cultural commentator who has been exploring the permeations and intersections of techno and other forms of experimental electronic music since 2008. Wilmoth, who is active in the North American and European dance music scenes brings an extensive knowledge of techno and house music across decades to the dancefloor, exploring greater themes of diaspora and the legacy of dance music. Powertrip is excited to be hosting an important voice in the dance music community for his first Australian tour, expect a masterclass set of club music that only He Valencia can provide.
On support is Meanjin-based producer and DJ St4cey4101. Having released music on Steel City Dance Disks and Moto Crush Club resident, St4cey4101 knows how to work a dancefloor and we're excited to welcome him back to Naarm.
DJ Coshnow (fka Osama Bin Banger) has been wowing crowds across the city with his signature brand of ghetto infused house, and will be spinning his growing stash of Dance Mania records to open the night.
On closing duties Powertrip's own Female Wizard. Expect a night of expertly mixed house and techno cuts.
