Powering Together Lancaster - Launch Event

Powering Together Lancaster is a new partnership project between Green Rose and CEE, and supported by the GB Community Energy Fund. It will support Lancashire properties to install home battery storage that can save energy for the household AND allow them to participate in grid-balancing services, helping to fund the deployment of free batteries for fuel poor households.

At the launch event, we will:

• Introduce the Social Virtual Power Plant (SVPP) model

• Explain how the scheme works in practice for properties and occupiers

• Outline the financial and environmental benefits

• Share how organisations can support and refer into the project

• Invite registrations of interest from potential participants

This session is aimed at colleagues, partners and stakeholders who would like to:

• Understand the opportunity for Lancaster residents

• Confidently talk about the project with their clients, tenants or networks

• Explore how the scheme could complement existing programmes and services

The event will include a short presentation, time for questions, and opportunities to connect with the project team.
