Iron Maiden songs performed by a band of clowns. That's the whole thing, and it's exactly as great as it sounds. Powerclown features members of Vancouver punk legends D.O.A. and The Real McKenzies in full greasepaint, ripping through Maiden classics with the kind of energy only a circus tent full of punks could produce.
Dead Goon - Mr. Bungle Tribute (Vancouver, BC)
Vancouver's dedicated Mr. Bungle tribute, bringing the chaos, genre-hopping, and sheer weirdness of Mike Patton's most unhinged project back to life on stage.
Friday July 24. Doors 7PM, music 8PM. $25 advance, $30 at the door.
