Power Kids: Quipu

We invite kids and their families to join this workshop, inspired by the Gákte-Quipo artwork installation by Norwegian artist Máret Ánne Sara and Chilean artist Cecilia Vicuña, presented as a part of Arctic/Amazon: Networks of Global Indigeneity!

Following a tour inside the gallery led by The Power Plant's Power Kids Coordinator Niloufar Salimi, families will create Quipus to store important information, such as keeping track of their meal plans or monthly savings using several colours of ropes, yarns, and fabrics.
