Power Drawing 101 - In Person at Valley Fair

If your student loves animals and drawing, Young Art’s Cute Animal Drawing Club will give them the tools to help them draw all kinds of adorable critters! Our instructors will take your students through different cute animal drawing, focusing on a different element or principle of design to help them understand techniques and methods for creating art. Your students will create memorable images they feel passionate about while learning important art concepts they can carry over to their own drawings for years to come!

In this art club for animal lovers, learners will draw cute cartoon animals in an upbeat and engaging environment. Our teachers will discuss basic drawing techniques with step-by-step instruction. Using their imagination, students will also have the opportunity to explore adding backgrounds to their drawings. Students will also learn fun facts about animals and share their thoughts!

Sample topics may include but not limited to Farm Animals (Focus on texture and contrast), Safari Animals (Focus on Color Intensity), Jungle/Forest Animals (Focus on Value Contrast) Sea Animals (Focus on Organic Form), Bird Type Animals (Focus on rhythm and texture) and Pet Animals (Focus on proportion and anatomy).

Classes are highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment.

Classes are held live at the Young Art studio in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall located at 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.

Rules for joining the class:

• Student(s) must not have experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the past 48 hours
• Please wear a mask

• 1 Ticket per child per session
• Each session is for 60 minutes of in-person art lesson.
• Current county safety guidelines will be followed during camp

*All materials will be provided by the studio.
