Australian/German power Rock Duo POWDER FOR PIGEONS splices RAW ALTERNATIVE ROCK infusing elements of PUNK, METAL and many other genres into their relentlessly explosive and in your face wall of rock performances.
Singer and Guitarist Rhys builds his guitars out of Aussie timber by hand for his extra grotty, DROP TUNED, RUGGED SOUND. Female power drummer Meike crafted her drum chops in Los Angeles, with a label that belonged to the legendary Sound City Studios in Van Nuys.
The Las Vegas married couple has dedicated themselves completely to their music, based in Germany and Perth; either on tour or in their studio, ripping out CHUNKY RIFFS and THUNDEROUS GROOVES that melt faces and spank eardrums.
They have recently been on tour opening for New Model Army, Monster Magnet, Clawfinger, Life of Agony, Ugly Kid Joe, Fu Manchu and Clutch for example, shared stages over the last ten years with The Offspring, Red Fang, Dog Eat Dog and have played Festivals, big and small all over Europe such as Hellfest (Fr), Czad Festiwal (PL), Ollesummer (EST), Freak Valley (D), Vestrock (NL), Palp Festival (CH), Roadkill (B), Stoned from the Underground (D), Desertfest (D), Up in Smoke (CH) to name a few.
