For a long time now we’ve been wanting to do some shows with The Boondocks…
So we’re stoked to announce that The Boonies are joining Pow Chu for our first tour of 2026.
Boom!
And (drum roll) for the Double Whammy show on 28 Feb in Tāmaki Makaurau it’s our absolute pleasure to announce a stacked line up of Special Guests.
Coast Arcade need no introduction whatsoever as they’re full-on trailblazing a path for the new wave of kiwi guitar bands…
We’re fizzing to announce that they’re jumping on our Auckland show as Very Special Guests…
And we’re also blown away to once again have our besties Haast Hunter joining as Very Special Guests… we’ve long been massive fans of both theirs and also the epic Hamilton band Static, so this will be our first chance to witness the unholy alliance of Haast Hunter with Sin from Static on vocals for the Haasties… Boom Boom!
This is a seriously stacked line-up….
You could literally draw the names from a hat and any running order would slay…
So look on this show as a showcase of music appreciation from some bands who all admire each other and just wanna play on the same bill…
It means tickets are about to go hot…
And there’s no arriving at the venue late…
It’s a lineup you might not see again in a hot minute.
