POW/MIA Recognition Sunset Ceremony

Join us for an evening of remembrance, honor, and hope at the 5th Annual POW/MIA Recognition Sunset Ceremony, presented by the veterans of American Legion Holley-Riddle Post 21, The Colony.
As the sun begins to set over the shores of Lake Lewisville, our community will come together to pay tribute to the American heroes who endured captivity as Prisoners of War and those who remain Missing in Action—those who have yet to make it home.
This beautifully orchestrated outdoor ceremony is more than a tribute. It is an opportunity for families, friends, neighbors, and especially our young people to experience some of our meaningful military traditions and better understand why we must continue to remember.
Come stand with our veterans. Bring your children and grandchildren. Share in a beautiful evening of music, reflection, tradition, and remembrance as we reaffirm a promise that must never be forgotten:
We will keep the hope alive.
We will remember them.
