We hope you and your family will join us for this FREE event celebrating children's literature and its creators. Meet the authors and illustrators (https://www.poulsbokidsbookfest.com/team-4-1) in person and get your books signed. Get your passports stamped (handed out at the door) and you just might win a grand prize. You can listen to story time, get your face painted, meet your local librarians and get a library card, and cheer the illustrators as they compete in Draw Wars!
Books can be purchased on site. Teachers, Educators and Military Families get a 20% discount on all book purchases at the festival.
When authors Suzanne Selfors and Walker Ranson bought Liberty Bay Books in Poulsbo, WA, they began to dream about creating a children's literature festival for Kitsap County. They went looking for a venue and the Poulsbo Sons of Norway enthusiastically agreed to help. With a crew of amazing volunteers, booksellers and donors, the work is underway to bring you and your family a wonderful day filled with authors, books, readings and activities. In other words - THE BEST DAY EVER!
