• Pottery workshop - make your mug & bowl under the guidance of ceramist Divyam Surabhi
• Fee - INR 1500 per person
• The session fee includes all materials + appetizers and a choice of non-alcoholic beverage. 

• In this session you will get a basic introduction to clay and how it's used.

• Insight into history of pottery and types of clay.

• You will get to create 1 mug and 1 bowl with clay using the pinching technique. 

• Preferably cut your nails for a better experience at clay. 

• And ofcourse you can take your creation home with you. At this stage the object created by you is raw clay and not food grade

• Pls carry a medium carton box/plastic box to carry your objects home. 

• To make it food grade dishwasher and microwave safe you can consider taking the next step in Pottery process with us.

Step of the pottery process - 

1. We will take your creation safely back to the studio. It will dry for a few days and then fired in an oven/kiln to 800 degrees celcius.

2. Now it's ready for colouring/glazing.

3. You can book a session for INR 1000 during the next month (weekends) at the pottery studio near Ashram metro station. In this session you will learn to colour/glaze your creations.

4. Then your creations will dry for a few days.

5. And next they will be put into the oven/kiln till 1280 degrees celcius. After this they are ready for you to drink eat heat in the microwave. 

You can choose to take all your creations through the entire process mentioned above or take the creations home after the workshop is over whatever suits you.
