Pottery Wheel Throwing For Beginners

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, and throwing an array of awesome shapes - from cozy cups to snazzy bowls. Plus, we'll teach you how to trim and turn your masterpieces for that extra touch. No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

Taking this class does not guarantee you will leave with a made piece. We will make every effort to help you make a piece but it is NOT guaranteed.
We will be sending all customers home with their pieces.
The only way to store your piece at our studio is to pay for a bisque fire, which is 5$ or we will glaze your piece for you for 10$ a piece (white or green) these options can be purchased at the studio with our staff.
Again please bring a box to store your piece or we will send you home with a plate. All customers will take their pieces home. Thank you.

To make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled 2 to 30 days after your Spinning Wheel Pottery class.
