Pottery course for beginners – in English
In this course, you will receive a brief introduction to wheel throwing techniques: kneading the air out of the clay, centering on the wheel, pulling up, shaping, as well as various grips and hand positions. The teaching takes place on your own electric pottery wheel with group demonstrations and individual guidance.
The course also serves as an introduction to the Ceramic Workshop at Godsbanen, where you can later book time and continue working on your newly acquired skills at the pottery wheel.
This course is taught in english.
Good to know
You should expect an additional cost for materials of approximately 40-50 DKK for clay. If you later wish to have your items bisque-fired and glazed, you will need to book time at the workshop yourself and calculate the associated costs.
