Always wanted to try pottery? Looking for something fun and different?
Our Beginners Pottery Wheel workshop would be perfect for you!
Join us in our pottery studio for a 2-hour workshop, suitable for adult beginners and aspiring potters. All supplies, instruction, apron, firing and glaze included.
Where: The Seed Art School - Unit 3, 1A Blackbutt Road Port Macquarie
When: Friday June 12th, 6-8pm
In this fun workshop you will work on:
- throwing, centering, opening & pulling your clay
- creating a few vessels including a cylinder, cup, & vase
You will have your own wheel and will make several but choose your favourite 2 pieces each to be fired and glazed.
Once dried (2ish weeks) we will bisque fire your pieces. Book into a glaze session here (cost included) and return to glaze your pieces. Then we re-fire your pieces. You can collect your pottery within a few days of glazing. If you're visiting from out of town we can glaze and post them out to you for a small fee.
Bookings are essential! We have limited spots available.
BYO additional drinks. We don't recommend nibbles as this class is messy!
