In this unique experience, participants will embark on a captivating journey, creating pottery with hand building techniques.
Pottery Therapy is an opportunity to embrace mindfulness, wellness, and our deep connection to nature. It is a practice that allows you to reconnect with yourself and the creative energy of the earth while you let your creative soul flow through your hands
We will begging our practice with a creative flow meditation and continue our session with instruction on hand-building techniques to make your own pottery, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tactile experience.
Through the art of using your hands to make your own pottery, you’ll enter a state of mindfulness, focusing solely on the present moment.
As you mold the clay and then design and decorate for your piece, you will feel the therapeutic qualities of this ancient practice soothe your mind, allowing stress and worries to melt away.
During this practice we will allow time for awareness, healing and transformation.
Workshop includes all materials to paint, carve and/or decorate your beautiful creation.
At the end of the evening, pieces will be taken to our studio to get fired.
Your finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!
Finished pieces will be delivered back to Now and Zen Wellness for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).

We can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the sample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!
There is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece, clay can break during the drying, transportation or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.
Cancellation Policy:
