Spend a relaxing and creative evening at Waikīkī Community Center with artist and instructor Apryl Binuya!

Whether you bring a friend or come on your own, you’ll feel welcome—and no pottery experience is necessary.

Coffee Cup & Pour Over

Using a provided template, you’ll cut the clay, assemble your piece, decorate it, and apply glaze. Personalize your creation with stencils, predesigned transfers, freehand painting, and your own creativity. Apryl will guide you through the entire process, making this workshop approachable and enjoyable for beginners.

After the workshop, your piece will be professionally fired and ready for pickup at Waikīkī Community Center within approximately two weeks.

You’re welcome to bring a store-bought snack to share, but it is completely optional.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. All registration fees are nonrefundable.

🎨 About the Instructor

Apryl Binuya is a ceramic and sculpture artist who studied Fine Arts at the University of Hawaiʻi. She is also a SCUBA instructor and flight instructor—bringing a spirit of creativity, exploration, and adventure to everything she does.

With more than 30 years of experience working with ceramics, Apryl loves sharing the joy of clay and sculpture with the community. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or simply want to create something beautiful, you belong here. Come make something with us!
