January and February can be cold and dark—and this class is a perfect winter refuge! Join a warm, welcoming studio and spend your Thursday nights doing something creative, grounding, and genuinely joyful, in community, with clay, conversation, and friendship. 🏺✨
This 8-week Pottery Intensive with Lynda Feman only happens once per year and is designed for beginners through advanced artists who want more than a one-night experience. It’s a true studio practice—immersive, supportive, and deeply satisfying—where your skills grow week by week as your work takes shape.
You’ll explore wheel throwing and hand building side by side: bowls, plates, tall forms, teapots, sculptural pieces, and combined forms with lids, handles, and spouts. You’ll work with slabs, coils, pinch pots, and molds, start multiple projects, and follow them through the entire ceramic process—discovering what you love to make and how to make it well.
Surface and glazing are a major focus of this class. You’ll learn low-fire glaze techniques, brushwork, slip trailing, carving, texture, and thoughtful surface design—one of Lynda’s specialties—along with firing cycles and finishing strategies that bring your work to life.
Classes meet Thursday nights, 6–9 PM, for 8 consecutive weeks at Laura Tarnoff’s Eldorado Home Studio.
$450 includes instruction, studio access, equipment, many glazes, and kiln firings (clay purchased separately).
