Potluck & Hang with Rusty! 🍺

Three months ago, Rusty suffered a terrible car accident and stroke that left him unable to move the left side of his body. He’s recently started lifting his foot, but recovery has been slow and he still needs a wheelchair to get around. He’s been placed in a long-term care facility— which mentally and emotionally, has been even harder for him to deal with. His spirits are low, but familiar faces, old stories and good memories seem to help.
Recently, I was able to get clearance from his care team to take him on a field trip to his favorite place, Transport Brewery! So we’re going all out and having a potluck and inviting all of his friends! (Please share this event with anyone you wish).
If you know Rusty, we’re hoping you can stop by and give him well wishes and hang out for a while. Because honestly, it would really mean so much to him.
I will also be putting together a slideshow of some of Rusty’s happier moments to play in the background on the projector. After the event, I will load it onto his iPad so he can watch it in full at his leisure.
