Hierdie jaar sal daar net een kompetisie wees: ’n tradisionele kerriepotjie. Potjies kan enige vleis van jou keuse bevat, solank dit ’n kerriepotjie is.
Potjies sal beoordeel word op smaak, aroma, aanbieding (nie die buitekant nie, maar hoe die inhoud lyk wanneer die potjie oopgemaak word), tekstuur, en originaliteit.
Die kompetisie vind Sondag van 11:00 vm tot 3:00 nm plaas.
Inskrywings:
Skryf in by die inskrywingstafel in Magnolia Hall tydens die Basaar (of, indien jy dit mis, by staanplek 215 tot Saterdag 5 nm).
Reëls:
Alle potte moet tussen 11:00 vm en 11:15 vm Sondag by die hoofsaal vir inspeksie van toestand en netheid aangebied word. Potte sal gemerk en genommer word.
Vleiskeuse is oop vir deelnemers. Maak die beste potjie wat jy kan met die vleis waarmee jy die gemaklikste is.
Alle potte moet tussen 2:50 nm en 3:00 nm by die deur van die saal afgelaai word. Deelnemers mag onder geen omstandighede die saal binnegaan nie.
Beoordeling begin om 3:00 nm, en potte moet 3:30 nm by die saal afgehaal word om by jou eie staanplek met jou familie te deel.
Uitslae word Sondagaand tydens die prysuitdeling aangekondig.

After a long hiatus we are re-introducing the Potjie Competition.
This year will feature only one competition, a traditional curry potjie. Potjies can be any meat of your choice with curry.
Potjies will be judged on flavor, aroma, presentation (not the outside but how the potjie contents look when you open it), texture, and originality.
The competition will be held on Sunday from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
Sign Ups:
Sign up at the sign up table in the Magnolia Hall during the Bazaar (or if you missed it, at site 215 through Saturday 5pm)
Rules:
1. All pots need to be inspected for condition and cleanliness at the main hall between 11:00am and 11:15am on Sunday. Pots will be labeled and numbered accordingly.
2. Meat choice is open to the contestants. Make the best potjie you can using the meat you are most comfortable with.
3. All pots need to be dropped off at the door of the hall between 2:50pm and 3pm. Contestants may not, under any circumstances, enter the hall.
4. Judging starts at 3:00pm and pots need to be collected from the hall at 3:30pm, to be shared with your family at your own site.
5. Results will be announced Sunday evening at the prizegiving.
