Join Radio Amateurs of Manitoba for a Parks on the Air activation and BBQ at Assiniboine Park! We've booked a picnic site and the club will be running HF stations on at least two bands using the club callsign, with burgers, hot dogs, sides, and drinks on the menu (details still being finalized). Attendees are encouraged to bring their handhelds, tripods, and rollup J-poles for some VHF/UHF simplex fun. Control operators will also receive personal POTA activation credit -- a great opportunity to get your 10 contacts and activate Assiniboine Park yourself.
