POSTPONED TO EARLY 2026. (We'll do this one in January or February instead. Will update you soon.)Celebrate the lengthening of the days while learning about native plants and begin your winter sowing, which is traditionally started on or around the winter solstice. This workshop will help you propagate and grow perennial, biennial, and annual self-sowing native plants from seed. The focus will be on plants native to north-central West Virginia with special emphasis this year on the creation of “soft landings” beneath trees for overwintering insects. You’ll leave the workshop with tons of information and resources, packets of seeds, and a planted jug of a locally native species.
Online pre-registration is required. Cost is $25.
