Join this dental hands-on course hosted by Asst Prof Dr Phophi Kamposiora from Greece in September.This presentation and workshop will enable the clinician to focus on the characteristics and use of the most modern materials and techniques for the creation of immediate and indirect polymer restorations for posterior teeth. Although the philosophy of the layering techniques will be presented, the aim of the presentation will be the use of simplified techniques, providing optimal results. Intraoral scanning, digital tooth modification and the use of matrices made on printed models will help to simplify and expedite the restorative process.
In the extensive workshop, the participants will create matrices for the stamp technique. Subsequently, they will restore posterior teeth using the stamp technique as well as the incremental build-up. In addition, participants will prepare posterior teeth for various types of minimally invasive restorations (inlays, onlays, endo-crowns), and will be trained to cementation procedures.
