Post Pride Parade Clean Up

Washington Square Park loves Pride, but not the mess that’s often left behind! Join us on Monday, July 1st beginning at 7am to pitch in at a post-pride clean up opportunity.

Thousands of revelers flock to this iconic open space to celebrate Pride, but that takes a toll even on a park accustomed to crowds like WSP. Trash cans overflow and spill into garden beds and onto paths, stickers and graffiti cover numerous surfaces, a wide assortment of items are abandoned...and the Park staff could use your help getting things back in shape!

Spots fill up quickly for this popular opportunity, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged! All necessary tools will be provided.

All volunteers must sign a to participate. Please fill out the waiver before your shift. Recommended age to participate is 14+. Volunteers under the age of 18 must provide a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
