HELLLLLLO friends!
SO! Sat June 29th is Odesza, with lots of friends from out of town & exciting activities! On Sunday the day after, we will be having a group park potluck relaxation day with w/rotating DJs, yard games, and catching up on the show. This way folks can come and go as they please for flights or other engagements.
LOCATION UPDATE: Originally we were going to do a smaller park. However I double-checked it Sunday, and it's now under construction. We will pivot meeting in the north eastern corner of Chessman Park in downtown!
I'm going to rent a generator for us for the day (~$75) so we can have full power for any DJing, lights, or fancy devices folks may want to bring. I confirmed we don't need permits for music gatherings, and sound ordinances aren't enforced until after our event wraps up. And this way it will be easier to find the park & everyone else!
Stuff to bring:
-Potluck item (we will do a poll below)
-Pop-up canopies if you have one for sun shelter
-Portable seats
-Picnic blankets
-Games we could play
-Art supplies if you so choose!
Who can come:
Everyone, including kiddos! Invite the usual friends, but also anyone you know coming from out of town or who should meet the fam. . Let's use the weekend Odesza traffic to invite new fam & anyone else that you think would enjoy.
