Celebrating Flag Day continues after the Appleton Flag Day Parade on Sat., June 10, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Appleton American Legion Post 38's Club 38 Hall and Bar (3220 W. College Ave.) for the official Post Flag Day Parade Party. Open-to-the-Public! Free Admission. Entertainment by The Positions (8-piece, high-energy, rock/funk band). Food and drink specials and prizes. Never Forgotten Lager will be available from O'so Brewing Company of Plover, WI. Sales of Never Forgotten Lager support veterans going on the Old Glory Honor Flight and other honor flight programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. The Appleton Flag Day Parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. from the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Oneida St., heads west on Wisconsin Ave., south on State St., east on College Ave., and ends at the corner of College Ave. and Drew St. It has been referred to as being the oldest and best Flag Day Parade in the nation.
