Post-16 Summer Forum: Access, Readiness and Transitions

This forum will focus on access, readiness and transitions for young people moving into post-16 education, training and employment pathways.

The session will include:

• updates on the Post-16 landscape mapping exercise and Transition Portal
• spotlight presentations from Youth Justice and Elective Home Education services
• discussion around English and maths as barriers to participation and progression
• working group updates and next steps

The forum brings together schools, colleges, training providers, voluntary sector organisations and council services to strengthen collaboration and improve outcomes for young people across the city.
