About this Event
Participants will be trained to deliver the Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resilience training program to adults in their organization or community. Additionally, we encourage facilitators to talk openly about ACEs and Positive Childhood Experiences and agree to host trainings in the Mat-Su.
Participants will learn a deeper understanding of:
- the ACE study
- Epigenetics
- Brain architecture
- Resilience and Positive Childhood Experiences
- Stress-body reactions
Participants can expect:
- Multiple opportunities to practice presenting the established PowerPoint "ACES and Resilience" and/or work on creating a personalized presentation that fits your organization's needs.
- A copy of the PowerPoint presentation, additional resource materials, videos, and handouts necessary for personalizing their own presentation.
